Overview The Forma-Tech wall building system is available in a number of configurations to suit domestic and commercial properties in single or multi-storey applications. The veneer version can be adapted to suit any standard frame and has insulation and structural properties superior to that of brick veneer walls. The solid wall variant is ideal for retaining walls and load bearing applications. The solid double skin insulated wall has properties similar to that of a sandwich tilt slab wall constructions and is suitable for a wide range of commercial and domestic applications with thermal properties, strength and architectural design freedom far exceeding that of double brick. Our latest innovation, a double concrete sandwich wall, has a moisture cavity on the inside of the external panel and has an internal structural concrete thermal mass panel totally separated from the external elements, further backed by an insulation barrier. This system has been designed to meet the most stringent local and international building codes and the price compares favourably to most standard building technologies. |
How does it work? 1. After erecting the wall frame and before the roof trusses go on the insulation material is fixed to the frame. 2. Galvanised steel brackets are screwed onto the studs and steel rods fitted which hold the Forma-Tech panels in position. 3. A special mixture is pumped into the wall and extrudes through the perforated panels. 4.It is then trowel finished, and after curing time a top render coat maybe applied as required. |
